getting to know...FRIENDLY FACES and PRETTY PLACESWe've been dairy farming for years, using a rotational grazing system that capitalizes on our little valley's green grasses. In 2016, we expanded into the meat business, adding goat, lamb, chicken and pork products to our beef supply. Along the way, we've also added three kids of our own and hundreds of friends from our surrounding community in western New York. We strive to provide high-quality, flavorful meat while improving the land and water around us.

LOCAL FARMS, LOCAL FOOD
We firmly believe in the impact of supporting your local economy. When you buy from a small business, that money goes right back into your local community. Consequently, we do not ship meat. If you're not local to us, please visit a farmers' market and get to know your local farmers. Cooperative Extension offices and Farm Bureau are great at connecting you to local farmers that sell directly to the public. Or, just take a drive and keep a look out for farm stands.
Not only will supporting local farmers help your local economy, the food will be fresher and more nutritious. The further food has to travel, the more processing it goes through, the less nutritious it becomes. We provide food that's been in three places - our home, the butcher, your home. Heck, our chickens go right from our home to yours.
How much more direct does that get? We promise a fresh, quality product or your money back.

RECIPE IDEASget creativeSam didn't grow up cooking, but thanks to some amazing teachers she's become quite proficient in the kitchen. Eric's idea of cooking is pre-heating the oven for a frozen pizza. Check out our Recipe page for some tried and true dinner ideas, mostly from scratch.

our crittersGRASS EATERS & OTHERSAll of our animals have access to grass, usually with some control measures in place to protect their safety. Wild critters in our area include fox, coyote, bald eagles, turkey vultures, fisher cats, black bear, raccoons and opossum; all of which like to eat domestic critters when possible. Find out how we live with our wildlife while raising livestock.

ONLY THE BEST MEAT HERE
All of our animals are raised on pasture with a little grain to keep them happy. The varied diet adds complexity and depth to the flavor of the meat. Keeping our animals healthy and happy means we end up with a high quality product. We only ever use antibiotics when absolutely necessary, but there are never any drugs in meat purchased through regulated channels in the United States thanks to strict withdrawal periods. Check out our current inventory here.
